| Location : Daya Teacher Training Institute is located at Appupillayoor, near Kozhijampara in Palakkad –dt, Kerala State . It is surrounded by beautiful landscape of paddy fields on the state highway, 16 Km away from Palakkad Pollachi route . The land area of the institution is 3 acres . |
Daya Teacher Training Institute came into existence on August 2005 and was established by Daya Educational Trust, Athicode, Kozhijampara, Palakkad. The objectives of the Trust are as follows.

| Daya Teacher Training Institute started its functioning in 2005. It provides Teacher Education at elementary level. The medium of education is Tamil and the present intake is 100. It is sanctioned by Government of Kerala and recognised by NCTE . |
